The 'Science City' project brings science and technology closer to the inhabitants of cities far from large cities.

What do disparate cities have in common? and distant as Cangas del Narcea (Asturias), Villanueva de la Serena (Badajoz), Alhama (Murcia) or Vila-seca (Tarragona)? Their link is that they are four of the 27 towns with less than 40,000 inhabitants that participate in the City Science project ( www.ciudadciencia.com ).

This scientific dissemination project, promoted by the Higher Council for Scientific Research ( CSIC ) and the Obra Social La Caixa , has as its goal that the inhabitants of remote localities of big cities know the scientific and technological news. < p> ...

Some cities have also received a visit from a truck used by the Astrobiology Center ( CAB ), mixed center of CSIC and the National Institute of Aerospace Technology ( INTA ), to know what is astrobiology and its main lines of research.
